I'll Stir Fry You in My Wok

One of the boys' main Christmas presents was a great little red vintage play kitchen their Grandma and Grandpa got for them. It has been a huge hit.
Dizzy has set up shop under the name Café Eli and whips up all manner of delicious dishes from cinnamon rolls, to tuna sandwiches. Boogie is his able, if reluctant, sous chef.

And he provides take out service. He makes us call him up and place orders. He always answers, "Hello, this is Chef Eli."

On Christmas morning the Iron Chef secret ingredient was bunny cookies. He made bunny bunt cake, bunny muffins, and bunny torte. Delish.

The boys got a lot of great kitchen accouterments from other friends and relatives.

Auntie Kelly was worried that the steak in the Melissa and Doug stir fry set would throw vegetarian Eli off. But no, he called it cake and was a big fan right away. The shrimp, on the other hand, took some 'splainin'.

These boys should be ready to open a new fusion restaurant any day now. On the menu:
sushi, fruit smoothies, soups, sandwiches, picnic fare, cookies and specialty candies. Hurry now to make your reservations!
