Monumental Shift

It's time for a monumental shift of focus. I'm not sure you know this but Christmas Eve is day after tomorrow. And the day after that is Christmas.

I KNOW!
I had to put some Christmassy projects on the back burner in deference to the ol' J-O-B.

This rarely gets mentioned on this blog, but I do have a day job. In fact, I can't think of anytime I have mentioned it before. I guess, in this my 398th post, it's time to embrace it.

I have a job.
I am Communication Coordinator for the church where my husband is a minister. So I do their newsletter, website, bulletins, and weekly email communication. Most of it I do from home but some of it requires me to be in the office. And Hazel is my office mate.

Christmas is like the April 15th of church work, so the j-o-b has taken over my focus for a bit. But yesterday I wrapped up work on, and printed, 8 (8!) service bulletins for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, 2 newsletters and a calender for January.

Finished. Completed.

Donezo.

So last night when I got home I began a monumental shift of focus to all things Christmas. There are projects to be sewn, crafts to be crafted, presents to be wrapped and stockings to be filled.

And three wee days to do it in.
So it's go-time people. There are 6 fresh inches of snow on the ground and no good conceivable reason to get out of our pjs and leave the house. This day is a crafty gift.
So, get thee to the sewing loft and sew, craft, wrap!

Go go go!!!
But first a little Hazey snuggle for Embrace the Camera.
