Embrace the Pig Pile

Have you ever tried to get a little cat nap going on a Saturday morning?

Did it work?

Clearly you don't have three children.
Pig Pile on Mama!
It's sweet really. Wherever I am, that's where Hazel wants to be. And wherever Hazel is, that's where Amos wants to be. And Eli never misses a chance to get that Lego Bible The Story of Christmas book read. I gotta say I'm a little sick of the story of Christmas. In March. After the 900th time.

I digress.

I know the day will come when I will beg that little trio for snuggles and they will mock me mercilessly, so I'll skip the nap for now.

  1. I love that you call Amos A-Boogie. We have a Drue, whom we call D-Boogie, which has been shortened to Boogs, or sometimes even Boog-ers. Poor kid. He may never know his real name!

  2. Who doesn't love a family pile-on on the couch?! ;)

    Great photos!

Is a new Lego Bible story book in your near future?

    1. The ones he's hooked on he nabbed out of my husband (the minister)'s office. They're called the Brick Testament and they're really more geared toward nerdy adults I think. We spend a lot of time re-crafting the text to make them 4-year old appropriate. The official Lego Bible Story Book is a great suggestion because I bet it's meant for kids! Thanks!
