Eli's Nursery

Just for fun (and because my computer is recently healed enough to download photos from old computer back up disks), I thought I'd give you a peek at Eli's super sweet nursery!

When we moved to Colorado in 2007 (8 months preggo with Eli) we bought a hovel and gave it some love. My favorite part was creating a sweet little space for our soon-to-arrive first born.Fabulous modular flooring in brown and green was the starting point. Then Super Selena painted the room "Spiny Sea Urchin!" I absolutely loved this color!

And I added some trees.
And some fun lighting (thanks Ikea!).

Ahhh, baby ambiance.

And Super Selena made the beautiful bedding and window treatments. She's AMAZING! That little brown bear was the fella's from his childhood. Coincidentally - it's name: Jess.

And viola! Kitty Wendell approved. Eli was only in it for a bit, because very shortly we sold the hovel and moved into the mountain house. Alas. But painting the trees and little blue birds for our wee one helped calm the fears of becoming a mom in a completely new place.

  1. Bee-yoo-tiful! Love those trees! You could add that amazing skill to your growing list of side businesses! (And make a lot of mullah, too!) ;)
