We snapped these wandering on campus the other day. I'm in love. And they are perfect for Embracing the Camera with the Anderson Crew today.

Peek of the Week - September 9, 2011
What's Peek of the Week, you ask? It's our Friday feature and it's all about you! I want to hear (and share with my readers) what wowed you this week. It could be a cool finished project, a work in progress, a personal accomplishment, a cute kid moment, or something that surprised you.
Each week I'll share my own Peek of the Week to get the ball rolling, and invite you to link to your blog post about your Peek of the Week. I know y'all are up to cool stuff - we wanna see it!
This week we brought sweet baby Hazel to one of our favorite places. We really miss living on campus where we used to live. We don't miss the tiny student apartment or the 3 flights of stairs leading to it, but we do miss the beautiful atmosphere of a college campus.
Luckily it's just a few blocks away, so we can still enjoy it.
Hazel loved it. She's an outdoorsy baby for sure.

Amos REALLY wanted to go swimming.

It was a lovely day of wandering, water, and flower picking. Oh - and veggie dogs at our favorite hot dog place - Mustard's.
A pure delight.
Now, it's your turn!
You could get peeking in three easy steps:
1. Blog about your Peek of the Week - whatever it is. Whatever happened that made you proud, laugh, smile, inspired, excited, or just plain happy - now that's worth sharing.
2. Include a link to this blog or put the Peek of the Week button (on the sidebar) in your post.
3. Link your blog post using the InLinkz button below.
If you don't get a chance to get here on Friday, feel free to link your post up later.
The InLinkz button will be active for 5 days.
If we could peek into your week - what would you want to show us?

Reunited and it feels so good.
My weekend at Sunny's was sooooo lovely and I took full advantage of all that lounge time. I relished not being needed. I savored not changing diapers or wiping noses.
But I missed them something fierce. There is nothing better than rising up the escalators from the terminal train and seeing Dizzy's sweet smile and arms full of flowers saying, "Hi Mommy! You came back!"
Yum. Me.
So I've been eating up some boy time since I got back.

Poor Baby A. He was sick and pitiful while I was gone. He's made it clear I should never go again. He's still a little puny, but hopefully on the mend.

Absence has made our hearts even fonder. Imagine that.

Saturday Morning Wonder Walk
This morning the fella and I took the boys wandering. We climbed, crunched leaves, picked apples, played football, got a haircut and some coffee, visited a friend, and collected buckeyes. An abundance of merriment was had by all. And all in our "back yard."
The perfect fall walk destination would have been a Saturday football game on campus. Sadly the school on whose campus we live doesn't have a football team. Lame. Who can I talk to about remedying this?

Boogie's on the mend. He's not 100% yet, but he's getting there. Hooray!

Blossom Walk
The boys are snoozing away...tired our from this morning's blossom walk. The campus is a regular bloomstravaganza these days. Back in the fall Eli worked on a leaf board for um...a couple of months. He just kept picking up leaves everywhere we went and bringing them home for his "yeaf boahd."
So today, we struck out on blossom board mission.
Step one - find a piece of foam or cardboard.
Optional step two - let your blossom board buddy pick out some fabric with which to cover your foam or cardboard.
Step three - find blossoms and pin them to the aforementioned blossom board.
This little guy has personality!

Pond blossoms.
This is what I love about crafting with kiddos - E-Dizzle found this little gem. It's not a conventional blossom. It's a partially budded pinecone. And it looks like a little rose on a stem. Good eye E-man!
We sat by the progressive fountains pinning our finds.
The wee couple behind Eli are doing tai chi. This couple and my crew often come across each other in this spot. It's one of our faves.
This is where Boogie spent his blossom walk.
Nice work boys!
So today, we struck out on blossom board mission.
