Peek of the Week - May 25, 2012

Dizzy's got a Peek of the Week for ya this week. Can't you tell by the eyes?

What's Peek of the Week you ask? It's our semi-regular Friday feature where we hear all about what cool things you other crafty families and blogging types have been up to. This week Dizzy would like you to have a peek at the heap o' dough we have handed over to the Disney/Pixar franchise. He and Amos think it's money well spent and I guess I kinda do too. They do love some cars.

One morning he decided to line them all up to get a good look at the whole kittencaboodle.  Can you imagine if he lined them up end to end? They could reach across town!

Start Your Engines

Whipped up this little duct tape race track the other day while the boys were alseep.

Yup. Pintrest. 

I just laid the track and little by little they brought out all the necessary cars and accouterments.

My peek:
This week we peek in on what Yaya's been up to in a little segment we like to call, "Stuff Yaya Makes."

Yaya hung out with the boys while I had my 36 week appointment a few days ago and in the midst of an impromptu Eli room rearrange she whipped up some cool stuff.
First: an awesome racecar ramp that spanned an entire wall of his room.

Second: a super sweet racecar for Amos to skirt around in.

That is one happy boy.

Yaya's totally out-funning me lately. Being this pregnant has rendered me basically useless. I'm really glad she's here.

Cheap Thrills

It doesn't take much to get these boys excited. They are, like the rest of the country, big into the Cars franchise. So when the Doc Hudson showed up a local self-service carwash the other day, we were psyched.

There is no fanfare. He's been perched there for days. So we just swung in and had an impromptu photo shoot with the fabulous Hudson Hornet. Good times.
